Climate

We enjoy well over 300 sunny days per year at The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille. We are at an altitude of over 1800 metres/6000 feet. Daytime temperatures are typically 25 Celsius/77 Fahrenheit, and at night 15 Celsius/59 Fahrenheit. There is little seasonal variation. Short rains in October/November and long rains in April/May bring out a mass of wildflowers, and can bring misty conditions. Go to www.accuweather.com and for an idea of the likely weather forecast look at: Accuweather Nanyuki or Accuweather Wamba. As our climate will allow you to pack light (though do bring a fleece, sweater or wrap for chilly evenings), please consider packing donation goods for our community projects. Please go to www.packforapurpose.org for more details.Pack for a Purpose
